Creating Material Tracking Records

The Material Tracking form is used to create and maintain individual Material Tracking records. Use this form to view or update a material tracking record.

In the Material tracking form, you can:

To create a material tracking record

  1. On the View menu, click Field Administration > Material Tracking > Materials, and then select a view.
  2. Click .
  3. The Material Tracking form appears.

  4. In the Creating dialog box, select a material type, and then click Create.
  5. For more information about material types, see "Creating Material Type Records".

  6. Enter the following information:
  7. *This field is required.

  8. To save the changes and keep the form open, click > Save.
  9. —Or—

    To save the changes and close the form, click > Save and Exit.
